Quality Inspector
Job Description Kelly Services has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector in the Ripon area.
This Quality Inspector is a temp to hire opportunity.
The Quality inspector will start as an audito and move to a CMM Inspector.
The candidate chose for this position will have GD&T experience.
Duties:
This individual will be a member of the quality team operating the Coordinate Measurement Machine on 2nd shift.
Perform capability studies and run analysis through software provided for both fabrication and purchased parts.
Instruct PCT-s in new or best measurement systems and techniques.
Nature and ScopeResponsibilities are centered on completing lay-out inspections for parts assigned by writing and maintaining programs written on new parts.
Other activities include continuous quality improvements, corrective actions to non-conformances, process control, quality assurance, and the use of effective problem solving techniques.
Provide and maintain training of all Quality Technicians on Coordinate Measurement Machines software, hardware and fixturing to be accurate and proficient as possible.
Requirements QualificationsQualified candidates must possess an Associates Degree in Engineering, or Business with a minimum of 3 year-s experience in quality or three year-s experience in programming of a CMM in a low to moderate volume, large equipment manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of GD&T, specification interpretation and advance CMM principals.
Have knowledge of ISO and QMS systems.
Faro Arm experience preferred.
The use of basic hand tools for inspection is required.
Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
Candidates must be a hand on contributor with strong written and oral communication skills and possess a high degree of proficiency with PC applications.
There is a high degree of interaction with inside customers.
