Overview
The ideal buyer candidate will plan, quote, purchase release, schedule, expedite and monitor materials/equipment required for the Company. They will manage daily inventory and schedules, including material requirements with manufacturing and maintenance; and manage special projects if given with a strategic mindset.
The ideal candidate for this role will need to be within a commutable distance of Ripon, WI
Responsibilities
Request and review quotations from suppliers including price, delivery, brand, and quality.
Enter purchase orders into the SAP Expedite purchase orders as required to ensure timely delivery.
Dispense parts to maintenance, production, and engineering departments as required.
Analyze products and suppliers for possible consolidation/elimination of multiple parts/suppliers.
Discuss price and products with supplier inside sales representatives and meet with outside sales representatives to identify new products and systems to improve the value of parts or services purchased.
Negotiate Terms and Costs
Resolve Invoicing discrepancies.
Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in all environments, ability to work independently.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Negotiating skills necessary, with strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Knowledge/Experience/Education:
3-5 years of experience in procurement in a Manufacturing Environment strongly desired
SAP experience preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree or equivalent experience required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
